Tell us about a bereavement

We're very sorry to hear of your loss – we're here to support you at this difficult time.

Our form below makes it simple to add executor's details for the account, it should only take a few minutes.

You will need the following:

  • The name and address of the deceased
  • The date the property was sold or furniture removed
  • The name and address of the Executor
  • Executor's preferred method of contact

NOTE: If the local council have provided a certificate of exemption from council tax as a result of the bereavement, please provide a copy of the exemption certificate. Upon receipt of this and provided that no water is used, arrangements will be made to cancel the account from the date the exemption became effective.

Closing the account

The account will be closed once the furniture is removed or the property is sold. At that stage, a closing account will be sent to the address completed above.

When the property is sold/cleared of furniture please notify us using the 'Account to be closed form'.
